BLOSSOM FEVER

A Community Photo Exhibition

About This Series

Everyone loves cherry blossoms in DC — and we all see them in our own way. This community photo exhibition is for everyone.

Blossom Fever is a two-week projection exhibition at Dupont Underground featuring cherry blossom photographs taken by DMV residents. We received over 200 submissions and are excited to share as many as we can. An outpouring of joy of a DC tradition.

Selected photos will be projected on the 300-foot projection wall of Dupont Underground’s historic reclaimed trolley station during the first two weekends of April 2026

A special thank you to the Dupont Underground volunteers who made this show possible!!

The banner for Blossom Fever, the curation order, and playlist was designed by Anoushka Singhania, a DC-based product designer whose work blends an engineering background with a deep instinct for experiences that delight. Whether she's designing physical objects or digital interfaces, her focus is always on the human on the other end — something that comes through in the warmth of this exhibition's visual identity. For Blossom Fever, she also helped curate the photo selection and created the playlist setting the mood throughout the space.

Thank you also to Barbara Brocker, Ellen Burch, and Todd Carter for judging and installation!!
