BURLESQUE UNDERGROUND

Presented by: Metro Cabaret Club & Dupont Underground

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, international burlesque star and producer extraordinaire Aquarius Moon brings together a glamorous lineup of Latin showgirls for one night only!

Join us for a night of high-energy performances, interactive audience games, and two gallery exhibits on display in the space: Veiled Ladies (Paintings by Dee Levinson, Curated by Gaby Mizes) and The Skin of Discomfort (Gallery Exhibition by Paola Podestá).

Featuring all-star performances by:

  • Aquarius Moon: International burlesque queen and producer of DC’s Metro Cabaret Club. She is the reigning Sin City Queen of Burlesque, and founder of the Every(body) Wants to be a Showgirl exhibition currently on tour across the United States.

  • Miss Frankie Eleanor: Known as NYC's "Nuyorican Bombshell," Miss Frankie Eleanor is a magnetic stage presence and decade-strong staple of the New York burlesque scene. She is Miss Coney Island 2022, founder of Butter Pecan Productions, and host of the iconic Nurse Bettie NYC.

  • Gia Vaughna: "The Sweet Mexican Pearl" is a Houston-born, New Orleans-based performer, singer, and producer. She's the creative force behind Ficheras: Live Latin Band & Burlesque and performs with Trixie Minx Productions and Lola Van Ella's Van Ella Bordella.

  • Artina Darkly: Known as "The Dazzling Darkness" and "The Tassel-manian Devil," Artina Darkly is a Brooklyn-based, award-winning burlesque performer and nightlife producer raised in a Latin family. A two-time NY Burlesque Festival Golden Pastie Award winner, she blends theatrical flair with a bold, magnetic stage presence.

As the creative home of Aquarius Moon, Metro Cabaret Club produces live shows across DC—including Burlesque Underground, Cheeky Martini, and Dance Place After Dark.
