New to Dupont Underground?
We’ve transformed a historic underground streetcar station into a dynamic hub for art, culture and design. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your visit:
-
Our official address is 19 Dupont Circle NW, but you’ll spot our red entrance right next to the Dupont Circle Starbucks on 19th Street!
-
We recommend taking a taxi or ride share service, though street parking is available nearby. For easy reference, direct your driver to the Dupont Circle Starbucks on 19th St , North of the circle.
Metro is also available. We are located 3 min away from the Dupont Circle station . Please take the North exit, which is the closest to us.
If you prefer a garage, the closest option at 11 Dupont Circle NW is a short walk away. Please note: The garage closes at 11 PM on weekdays and 8 PM on Sundays.
-
Our main entrance requires using stairs, but if you need access to the chairlift, kindly let us know in advance by emailing operations@dupontunderground.org.
-
While there are no on-site restrooms at the moment, facilities are available across the street at the Dupont Circle Hotel or Kramer’s bookstore.
Group tours: If you would like to have your group tour the exhibit, please send an email operations@dupontunderground.org with your request.
-
Feel send a email to operations@dupontunderground.org . We will be happy to help!
We can’t wait to welcome you to Dupont Underground!
