“Low Expectations is a rock band of experienced non-professional musicians. The band is committed to preserving the spirit and traditions of the prominent figures of the “rock en español” movement and sharing it with audiences in the Washington, DC area since the beginning of 2023.

The band members are from the Rio de la Plata region, with four of them being Argentine and one Uruguayan. They mainly focus on performing classic Argentine rock songs from the 80’s and 90’s by artists such as Charly García, Soda Stereo, Fito Paez, and Andrés Calamaro. Their music carries a strong political and social message, representing the best traditions of Latin rock. The goal of this concert is to preserve and share this musical legacy and to introduce it to new audiences during Hispanic Heritage Month in the United States.

“DJ Señor Rockactivo” is a well known DJ and music connoisseur spinning the best sounds from the past, present, and future of Rock en Español.
